Raps Static Line Parachute Jump In Lincolnshire

Skydiving Experience Days: Static-Line Parachuting is a fantastic introduction to the world of skydiving - a little more intense than a tandem jump, a little less than the AFF Level 1 course. This is a two day 'first jump' course that let's you bypass a tandem jump where you are attached to an instructor, and instead jump solo! Don't worry, you will be in constant contact with your instructors both in the aeroplane and on the ground (by radio), but this jump will still give you a huge kick and a well deserved sense of personal achievement! You will have a full day of ground-training, where you learn all about safety procedures and parachute control. After this intensive day will be ready to get up there and complete your very first parachute jump - from 4000ft. You'll take the night to chill, then next morning you'll be airborne and ready to jump! You can progress through the parachute training system, eventually to a point where you can begin to enjoy freefall skydiving, jumping from higher altitudes. Before you can jump you'll need to complete a full day of ground-training with a BPA qualified instructor. You will be in a group (maximum of 12 people), and the course will be spread over two days - the classroom session on the first day can leave you feeling a bit wiped, and it is much better to be fresh and well rested so you get maximum enjoyment from your first jump! Day 1: You should arrive at 8:30 for registration, and your course will begin at 9am with a full Dropzone orientation. Throughout this first day, you will cover all aspects of parachuting including the all-important emergency procedures and safety issues and, of course, how to properly control your chute. Day 2: Day 2 is your jump day - a plane will take you up to 4000ft, taking about 15 minutes, at which point it's time to put theory into exciting practice! After you jump, your parachute deploys automatically and will float gently to earth in about 5 minutes, where you will have a debriefing with your instructor - and probably discuss the next steps in your skydiving adventures!
