Bird Of Prey Experience Days: Choose from one of four 1-hour bird of prey experiences at the fantastic Millets Farm Falconry centre in Oxfordshire. The perfect introduction to falconry, this taster session will give you a fascinating insight into the birds themselves, as well as the skill and patience required to train and look after these beautiful animals. Each of these tasters will last for an hour. You can choose your preferred experience when you make your booking. The Owl Encounter includes the chance to handle and fly a selection of different types of owl is perfect for anyone who has a particular interest in these beautiful nocturnal birds. If you want to learn about the UK's indigenous raptors, go for the 'Best of British' experience, during which you will learn about and handle the birds that you might see out in the wild in Britain. The 'Scavengers of the Sky' experience is an hour-long introduction to the types of bird who find food that's already dead - learn about the tough life of the vulture, the raven, the Kite and the Cara Cara. For a more general introduction to Falconry, the falconry hour-long introduction will give you a great insight into the world of the falconer - and full day admission to the centre is included with the experience!
