Get in the saddle for a whole world of two-wheel fun at Lee Valley VeloPark! We're offering one-hour taster sessions to get you peddling on a mountain or a BMX bike at this famous 2012 London Olympic cycling venue. These great value introductory experiences take place at Lee Valley VeloPark in east London. To set the scene think back to the London 2012 Olympics. The velodrome at Lee Valley hosted all the track cycling events - and we're sure you'll agree they had the nation completely mesmerised. With the velodrome hosting the track cycling events and the outdoor track welcoming the BMXers Lee Valley VeloPark is where Team GB rode away with eight gold medals out of 10 on offer plus a silver and a bronze. What a memorable medal haul for British cyclists it was! Since the games the outdoor tracks have been modified to be accessible to non-Olympic athletes (the jumps and berms were totally gnarly and massive!) and graded mountain bike tracks and a road bike circuit have been added too. Our outdoor cycling experiences at Lee Valley VeloPark give you a piece of the riding action at this dynamic venue. Choose between a ride around the purpose-built cross-country trails out on the one-mile tarmac track or BMX track. Coaching is given by an experienced and enthusiastic coach who will have you smiling in no time. From learning to ride tricks on a BMX or thundering down steep slopes on a mountain bike to learning to ride a bike for the very first time cycling is for everyone at the Lee Valley VeloPark.
