Why go truck driving when you can go DAF truck driving? As DAF says this XF105 is 'a thoroughbred driving machine'. And when your office is a cab pounding the motorways of the UK this is just the sort of HGV you want to be driving! These experiences always attract a lot of attention on the day. A big bright DAF truck is used to transport all those gorgeous cars to the circuit but rather than sitting in a corner of the circuit the organisers realised everyone wanted to drive this DAF truck so that's just what they've done. We are offering weekday and anytime sessions driving the impressive DAF truck for either 15 or 30-minutes. During that time you'll get to grips with driving this 12.9l six cylinder behemoth of the roads. And whilst they may not be the quickest out of the starting blocks when hauling a zillion tons of loo rolls they are incredibly powerful with shed loads of torque. In fact with 510bhp the DAF XF105 boasts more horsepower than some of the supercars out on the track. And word has it that the XF series makes quite a nifty little truck racer when it's not hooked up to any heavy loads. Sitting high up above cars you get a great view of the road ahead in a truck. It's all pretty comfy up there too with the cab decked out with all the modern comforts and gadgets for long distance trips. Whilst you won't be clocking up the motorway miles you will be putting your drive skills to the test driving the DAF including getting this HGV reversed parked. (It's all about the mirrors!). Great fun and exhilarating these DAF truck driving sessions are the stuff of childhood dreams for young and old alike. The minimum age for these experiences is 12 years old (no driving licence needed and you just need to be at least 5ft tall to be able to reach the pedals) so teens and grown ups can get to drive the DAF XF105. Available at the track day of your choice from several venues around the UK.
