In a series of world firsts this Awesome Foursome experience gives you an adrenaline-packed day at a very special Yorkshire location. Held in a former steel works near Sheffield this place is unique in that it is the only place big enough to accommodate crazy sky-high activities whilst remaining resolutely indoors!First things first is the safety briefing with the instruction team. Then the technicians will get you kitted out in your harness and safety equipment. Your experience will begin with a turn on the 250ft Zip Wire which happens to be the longest indoor zip wire in the world. Once the jumpmaster has attached you and pushed you off you will whiz along the wire at speeds of up to 30mph.Having safely reached the landing zone you will move to the abseiling area ready to tackle your next activity. After some guidance from your fully qualified instructor it is down to you to abseil 150ft down the 'Face of Steel'. Make no mistake this is no normal abseil where you glide down the rope next to a wall- this abseil is into a great big abyss.Getting braver by the minute you will then climb the 143 steps up to the 150ft The Drop! Chances are you'll never have seen one of these before as this Sheffield centre has the only one in the country so let's explain what it's all about. The idea is that it recreates free fall as you jump attached to the ropes into the void before the power fan takes over and you float gracefully down to earth. It's a proper 'heart in mouth' moment when you jump into nothingness!It's now your turn on the indoor bungee jump (again the only one in the UK). As you start to climb the 143 steps one more time in semi-darkness with spotlights whirling around you the smoke machines swirling away and music pumping out you'll experience the ultimate adrenaline rush.... even before you take the jump! As you plunge into the darkness your fall will be projected onto the seven screens surrounding you providing an amazing finale to your most definitely Awesome Foursome experience.
