On arrival at the centre in Leicestershire, staff will talk you through the safety aspects of the experience and give you a demonstration on proper throwing techniques. You'll start off with training Angel axes, which have blades on two sides so are more likely to stay put when you hit the target - perfect for practising the movements and judging the distance to the target. Now onto the big stuff... Tomahawks! You'll rotate in groups of three and all have a go at hurling the axes at the log targets, swiftly coming to the realisation that axe-throwing is not as easy as it seems. By the end of the session you should see a significant improvement in your accuracy, and be able to hail a champion!
