Candle Making Experience Days:Enjoy an afternoon creating a scented candle inspired by the botanical gardens at Keyneston Mill. Create the scent for your candle to take home and fill your house with a beautiful smell that will remind you of your day at Keyneston Mill.Arriving at the grounds at Keyneston Mill in Dorset, you'll be struck by the incredible natural beauty of the area. Before your class you are welcome to explore the botanical gardens, which have been featured on BBC Gardeners' World. Keyneston Mill is the creative home of Parterre Fragrances, where they grow, harvest and distil unusual plants and ingredients for their luxurious perfumes. You can choose to blend a floral, citrus or woody fragrance to create your scented candle. This 2 hour 30 minute interactive and informative workshop will begin by blending together a variety of high quality oils to create the scent that you desire, under the guidance of an expert. Once you are happy with the scent you will arrange your glass jar, heat the soy wax and add the fragrance you created. You can come up with a name for your candle and decorate a box for the candle to sit in, perfect if you are giving it to someone as a gift. While you wait for your candle to set, you can take a scroll around the gardens or enjoy a hot drink. At the end of the session the candle will be ready to take home with you to fill your home with a lovely scent!This candle making workshop would make a perfect experience gift for the scented candle addict in your life, and is a fun addition to a day out in Dorset.
